Hello guys,

Now I had a small problem in my GTI-R.
The instrument panel(cluster) fuel gauge stopped working. The needle has gone to the far left.

Could the problem be the instrument cluster or the fuel sensor?

Id start with the fuel sensor, you can test it and find out. EL-120 and EL-121 in the workshop manual.

I would do same Woody suggests, generally it easiest place start if no other issues on gauge cluster making it look like the cluster more likely at faulty .
You can spoof values to the gauge with a resistor/jumping the sender wires .
