Recently purchased a 1990 GTIR which i am putting back to original.

One modification it had was a very long turbo oil feed braided hose which also diidnt allow the heat shielding round the turbo to be fitted. I have just found that the oil port on the engine block has been drilled to an m14x1.5 thread so the adaptor could be fitted for the braided line.

Because of this I cannot fit the original Nissan oil feed (m12x1.25). Does anyone know where i can get a new braided oil line that fits these turbos and allows the original heat shielding still to be fitted. Also with the correct size oil restrictor in it.

Not this one but sure something like this might work and still allow the standard line to work. I know you req the other way larger to smaller and the one pictured is not the right thread

Hi i have been looking for an adaptor but it does not exist in the thread size.

Do you know what size the oil restriction is in the banjo bolt?

Wanted to close this thread. You can tap the oil feed to an m16 which i did. I then fitted a timesert which had the internal diameter of the original bango bolt thread so i could fit all the original Nissan parts
