need advise on my centrel locking mechanism on passanger side, basically original unit removed and aftermarket black actuators fitted, so ive taken off my standard sunny one form a donor car only to find that it has a diffrent plug to the loom. Ive looked on my other pulsar and thats the same both grey plugs, also looked on the part numbers online and there is a change over in 92. both my sunyy and pulsar are 93 and car im rebuilding is 91 so has earlier unit so I either need the lock mechanism to fit white connector or can I cut the white connector off and re connect the grey one off my sunny which also has 2 extra wires??

help would be appreciated before I start hacking wires etc

im not 100% on this tbh but i would cut and swap the connectors i think youll find it will work ok....whats the worst if it doesnt just resolder or crimp the original connector back on

possibly im not sure though if im honest without testing them.
ideally you need to get a multimeter on it then lock and unlock the door this will tell you what the signal wires are

well good news, I took the whole mechanism off and swapped the actuator and connector from my sunny and fitted perfect, cut the wires, reconnected them and all seems fine for now, wont really now till I get the battery on later in the year

cheers bob
