carbon bonnet and spoiler from knightracer

Well as some of you know i orderd a carbon bonnet and spolier from knightracer

What garbage these products were.
bonnet had damage in the middle so i sent it back for them to replace . ( just had an email back saying they are repairing it )
Spoiiler turned up damaged yesterday ( manufacturing defect ) .. Also i thought these things were 100% carbonfibre . I'm pretty sure this is a fibreglass spoiler with a carbon skin

Not what i'd expect for £5 short of £1000 ..

So told them to refund me fully for both items

What a joke mate, I'd be well pissed off. Have they agreed to give you a full refund?

That's shocking if that is true about rear spoiler.

they should have sent you another out as they must surely have an insurance to cover the new items they send out especially considering the price of them

That's bad! I have a knight racer bonnet and the inner skin is fibre glass! But I guess it's what it looks like on the outside! Isn't Aaron selling a carbon bonnet and spoiler?

Mine were both good quality items and the bonnets are see through as its hyper carbon they use now

I think the very best ones are the cfx carbon kevlar bonnets made in canada.They were very cool but sadly not available any more.

does say on the website minimal GRP so they do use fibreglass with carbon skin what a rip off for the price

Rear spoiler is waste of money really, if want look on rear spoiler then quality job carbon dipped would be way to go ..
Bonnet is worthy weight saving but finding real quality ones is not easy plus the finish generally doesn't weather the best long term.

So Glad, i didn't end up purchasing one of these. Was planning on getting both.

I have both of them and mine are fine but got them a couple of years ago can't belive they have gone that way

I bought mine second hand but in new condition, really happy with it! But like you say it isn't carbon on the inside so does seem a bit of a rip off!!

Credit card company now dealing with this. .
Waiting for refund since 5 December. .. Been told it's been refunded three times

A full carbon bonnet with no grp would be well over the £500 I paid when we had the group buy, the turini carbon bonnet is a piece of crap, the kr bonnet was pretty good IMO but I went down and collected

they were selling one on facebook which was damaged, they got kinda trolled

Yeah spotted that, thought it was Rob's till I checked on here that the damage was in a different place

you would think they would have repaired it, especially from the company who made it, i wouldnt mind a cf bonnet but think ill pass

I finally got my refund on 23 December. .

They told me it was refunded in November then at beginning of December

Yeah I.posted on the fb page, I couldn't remember who or where I'd seen that somebody had recieved a damaged bonnet, I thought they were trying to offload it to make there money back!?? Glad they got trolled,power of the R community :-D

Seems a shame companies go like this, I would like a carbon bonnet but can never make my mind up
