What are peoples opinions of the sunny spoilers?

I kind of like them but never seen one in person. Sometimes I think the R spoilers are a little over the top but then I've seen people with aftermarket versions or even no spoilers and they look terrible.

At the end of the day the best looking gtir is one that looks original right?

I think the oe spoiler makes a statement like all that kind of styling of that era ... its character not like all this new car bollocks where they all look the same .... just my opinion ...

+1 with Nomad, rear spoiler really fits character of car & balances the rear to the Bonnet.

Hahaha I'll remain in the corner until I'm told to leave Laughing

But seriously I saw an R at a mates audio place ages ago and the guy had an flat n14 bonnet, no wing or skirts. It was a horrid sight.

My mate had his flat bonnet and that spoiler as a sleeper 1.4 badge on supprised a few cars as he passed at silly fast speed

You mean like my old one...  lol!

This spoiler also had a high level brake light build in. Never seen another one like it.

See that looks ok to me with those wheels and the fact it still has the pulsar style tailgate. If it had R bonnet on would be diff storey.

I agree, the whole package looks OK but I think the spoiler on its own doesn't fit in.

I actually have to agree Johnny. Looking at that first pic I can't picture an R bonnet suiting it. Are they called different models in different countries or something?

i do like the sleeper like that - but for me the classic R with the agressive front and loud rear always wins in my books
for years i had people thinking ppfffttt boy racer with big spoiler and loud exhaust - soon saw them looking differently after being left for dust......
