Must of been fun and demanding being the mapper on the session.
that almost 325horses and 360torque in old colonial numbers .
are you keeping internals standard or planning on some internal parts down the road .
any thoughts on using water injection.

Yeah was fun and was a little nervous, plan is to fit the dog box and go back for more more boost and timing. Has plenty left in it. We have E85 locally so will use that once the 98 fuel map is done.

Stock internals will hold 300kw. But I have some engine internals stored away if needed.

Why the p12 Cams Nigel? I always thought the stock VET cams were better optimized for boost?

Some say p12 intake and vet exhaust give better results. But I can't see how if you run adjustable cam gears on the p12 pair. Both are hard to get so it's better nowadays buying a custom kit.

Just out of curiosity, you said you had to add the VVl exhaust solenoid from the P11, I assume to get the exhaust rockers to engage that you added. I can't remember for sure, but didn't the Xtrail VET combine both solenoids into one?

The VET only has switched rockers on the intake so I used another 4 from a spare p11 head I had. VET head also only has a single solenoid which is fine as it will switch both sides. You can use the P11 solenoid but it needs to be modified.
