So

What are people using and size on 17" rims? Never really looked into it that much before but since doing some track days I have been more interested in tyres and setup.

What size and brand are you using and how are you finding them?

I have cheap Toyo T1R at the minute

I'm sticking with 15s for trackdays, cheaper wheels and tyres and less loading through the transmission.

Toyo Proxes R888 195/50R15 for me, but been looking at Nankang NS2R Sportnex I might try next time.

Cant go wrong with an A048 either Smile

What calipers have you got? I have hispec 4 pots with 320 discs so limited to possibly 16"s

I have 225 45 18 on my RX-8 two Contisport contact 3 I think much softer rubber than the Bridgestone potenzas which are on the back. Both good tyres

It's interesting to see what sizes you are running on 17 and other rims thanks guys keep them coming

Standard Calipers with grooved discs and yellow stuff pads at the moment,
But will go for either the Willwood Midilite 4pot kit or hispec billet 4 285mm to keep under the 15's.
