Any idea wot this wire was for

Anyone know wot this wire is for, car has no faults that I know of, could it be an old air conditioning connection as I have it removed ?

Could this be my old air conditioning wire ? It's just to the right of the Oil / air separator which I have removed temporarily.

Factory boost control solenoid

I think that may be the plug to the original boost solenoid which I'm guessing has been removed as you have an aftermarket one
