Are the on site advertisements alowed or has the site got issues

Noticed quite a lot of advertising on the site lately .

Is this normal or has the site been hacked

I use ublock to remove elements in pages I don't want see .
I think adverts for members means payment due to remove them as happened before from what I remember .

I’ve been using the site on my phone and recently it’s been constantly redirecting me to other sites, very irritating!

I don't see any..only time I see adverts at the top is if I'm not logged in .... IL look into it ...

Ah, thought it was just me. Yes when trying to post, like half way through writing something, it redirects me to these other sites.
This only happens when using my iPhone to access the site. Thought it was hacked...

Could it not be your browser you are using ... can people post who see adverts or get redirected say what they are using and what browser please ...

Well I'm always viewing from my phone android Samsung s5

I get the adverts, but not been redirected.
I use Chrome on a Win10 PC

I’m on an iPhone and use it through safari, I have it saved on my home screen, like an app

Should be sorted now.
I have paid to remove them for members again for 12 months.

Can we make donations towards costs etc ..

I’m not seeing it any more, I’d happily put some money in stu, as I’m sure others would. Doesn’t seem fair you have to pay for it

Members shouldn't have to pay towards the running of a club.
And it's not that expensive anyway.
Just buy me a drink if I ever get to a show if you want

Sounds like a good plan! Won’t be till next year now though this year has gone so quickly
