What's my car worth

I'd like to get people's opinions on what my car is worth?!
So if every one can have a read and add there opinions that would be great please
Not sure where to start but I'll just go for it, no doubt I'll miss loads

1994 black gtir M reg
ENGINE:
Currently being rebuilt
Arias forged pistons with brand new rings
Standard rods with arp bolts
Block decked and honed
Head skimmed and ported and polished,new valve stem seals and lapped in.
Standard cams with piper vernier pulleys.
New crank shells
New big end bearings
Cosworth head gasket
New inlet manifold gasket
New exhaust manifold gasket
Standard ported and smoothed exhaust manifold
SARD 700 cc injectors
Front mounted mocal oil cooler with thermostat sandwich plate

ECU
Gems standalone with anti lag

Gearbox
Par engineering straight cut 1st to 4th with oem 5th shot peened and frozen.
Stratcher motorsports external gear box brace
All sorts of new bearings etc and all correctly shimmed up
The box wanted for nothing when being built
As we all know it's been built by probably the best person in the uk as far as attention to detail goes


Clutch
Brand new competition stage 4 paddle clutch,new release bearing and reinforced clutch fork.

Turbo
Garrett gt3071 r .86ar
This was rebuilt this year by midlands turbos with a brand new exhaust housing and has done less than 1200 miles

Carbon fibre knight racer bonnet with latches

Front strut brace

Air intake duct (light delete)

Chinese intercooler with all custom pipework for a shorter run

Side exit exhaust

Z32 maf with large k and n filter with custom intake

Oil catch can

Rota wheels

R888 tyres

Bc coilovers

K sport 8 pot brakes

Cobra bucket seats

Brand new omp harnesses

Flocked dash

Powder coated black Cusco 6 point roll cage

Battery relocated to the back

Spa oil pressure/oil temp gauge

Spa boost/water pressure gauge

Aem fuel air gauge

Wide arch done by myself (gets a lot of attention)

Quick release bumper

The car does need a little attention to the rear sills, not rotten through just not great.

Was fully re sprayed 2 years ago

This is just a short list of work done and believe me I know I have missed a hell of a lot out!

Car is running circa 450bhp and is motd till next year.

Car wants for nothing and a lot of parts (most) are brand new

I'd guesstimate about £12k but have been known to be wrong in the past...

That's a good start, I'm sure there will be a lot of varying answers and the more I get the better, then I'll take an average and have a rough idea

Yeh that the problem, how much did the 600hp one go for !
Does your front still look same pete with new intercooler and is oil cooler still mounted same !
I would go middle of mike and johnny @ 10K . modded ones tend be hard sell for proper money even if done well and running A1 .
proper clean standard cars hold better values and sell easier .

I know the bog standard ones go for a lot more, I get that even though it's odd?!
I like to think mines one of the ones that's had all the 'problem areas' taken care of.
Literally just want peoples opinions, I know I'll never get back what I've put into it, and I'm not selling. But it's good to know what 'the people' think

£8k to £12k
It's hard to say though as not many high powered have sold recently.
Danny fennel fetched £12k was it?
It might be worth more but think it's a slimmer market being so modified.

stu I get what you're saying, it's insured for 12, but I'd like to think at resale it sits around 10k

I would like to think there all worth that but my honest opinion ( not just your car by any means pete) 8 is top end they gone from 4-5 k to 6-7 8 is top end. They can not double in price in this short time. People keep saying 10-12 where do they get that figure from ?

It's mad when you see how much the skylines have gone up by, and the grits are rarer.

It not so much they not worth that money it simply too small a market get good prices and you get lower budget buyers jumping in with 6k to get a quick car cheap then blow it up as got no money or sense and it damaged the R image so it not prestige enough get prices like skylines .
Nice finished and pretty much no fault modded R's don't come up often, most ones see are problem ones or tuned to budget and need 3 to 4K thrown at them to make a usable package.
Think the 600hp one went around 10K but it seems like it not balanced modded package or as tidy as petes .
As Johnny points out 8K seems real world sales number, luck of draw who looking when try selling modded car, also makes difference on how good they actually are, lot of so called 500hp modded cars run worse and handle worse than the wiifes 1999 206 hdi 90 lol .

Like everything else, its only worth whats someone is willing to pay and has the cash to back it up.
Knowing what i know about Rs, i'd part with £8k no quibble, its worth that in parts.
£10k would be my limit.

Around 10k was what I was hoping for,there is one for sale atm at a similar spec but with a fucked gear box, I've got at least 3k in my gearbox.
I plan on getting new sills at some point in the future so I imagine that would add to the value as well.

Off topic a bit but why are you running MAF and how you made ALS work?

It's a group n ecu so it has to use a maf for the regulations for rallying (only found this out after I bought it) so won't run without.
There's some sort of sensor before the inlet manifold (can't remember what it's for) then it works off the idle control valve, so take my foot off the throttle and it opens the valve allowing more air in (I think) been a while since it was all fitted and done. Sounds Mental with a side exit!

I wouldnt take less than 10 for it Pete. All honesty if you didnt get that would probably be better selling the box, turbo ecu combo and getting it to 300+ bhp and selling for 6k+

No I know there's no way you will get your arse back from cosmic for doing your gearbox

Iwould say that its worth around 10k if all running good.

Personally i would do as suggested and sell the gearbox and all the other bling bits, put the car back to stock condition and sell it for virtually the same money, that way you will recoup some of your losses
