Greddy profec b spec 2

Anyone using a greddy profec spec2?
What have you got your gain and set gain set at and for what boost pressure?

I have set it up to that but was curious to see what others have set theirs upto and at what boost pressure.
I searched google and saw a few people had set their gain a lot higher than what it says in the manual..
Or I may have read the setup wrong

Don't have the greedy,but have a blitz icolour which has the same set"gain

Gain set at 25 anymore higher more chance boost spike and comes in like a animal lol
Boost set 54 which is just under 1.2 bar if I remember

Best to start low and work your way up oh and full tank of petrol

I used to have one of those BlitZ SBC thingy's before and had it set up so the gain was reasonably high. It meant that I didn't need to mess around with the scramble boost settings as it always gave me a little overboost (ie spike) whenever I floored it. It was nothing too big obviously but worked pretty well IMO. If you've got a fast spooling BB turbo I would think you'd want to start with the gain fairly low and gradually raise it to stop it spiking badly 

yes as Mike said it really does all depend on your turbo and the way the engine is built

So in a nutshell there are no firm settings, comp ratio, cams, turbo type, injection latency and many other factors all influence the gain setting so really is car specific

But Ajay has given a good base to start with

I set the gain to 5% as it says to do in the manual and I was hitting 1bar.
So I have raised it by 2% but haven't been back out to check the boost pressure.
I will just keep raising it a little until I'm hitting what I want.
