Dropped the fuel tank and exhaust over the weekend so the under neath is now ready for some wire brush treatment, really happy with the floor and apart from a few scabs everything looks solid.

Finally had a few early finishes from work this week so been able to start removing the old bushes to get the sub frames and arms sent off for powder coating. Threaded bar, big sockets and some nuts and washers have done the job well and managed to get all removed.

Hoping to get everything in to be powder coated before I go away for a few weeks so can crack on when I get back.

Want to keep things simple and keep the look factory so no lairy colours being used

Good job Mark, might one day do mine. Did you have any luck sourcing that diff seal?

Not had a chance to look at the diff yet, might give it a crack tomorrow.

After posting earlier phoned a few companies and then dropped it off an hour later, 100 notes to have the sub frame, arms and a few brackets shot blasted, powder coated and a zinc coating

That sounds like a good price, whereabouts is this company? We have stuff done at work but if i want it done really cheap i would probably have to wait a few weeks.

Now back from holiday although I'd much rather be out there still, but had some nice shiney parts to collect from the powder coaters.

And must say really impressed with their work.  Wanted to keep a factory finish and keep it simple.

Lol I'm worried to even take it out of the bubble wrap, let alone press the bushes in.

New fuel line has arrived today so will be doing the tank over the weekend and depending on weather begin wire brushing the underside

Not under sealed it yet mate but going to be using bilt hamber products.

As it was a lovely day today I didn't fancy laying underneath the car so set about cleaning up the fuel tank and replace the pipes.

Also pressed the new bushes into the arms.
