I tried to get one last year but they're really rare. Sad
Ended up repairing my old one instead.

Cant get a resistance reading from the sensor. I've read that the cable breaks at the point of where it's mounted to the suspension so have whipped it off the car to check but the cable is good.

Double check that cable the whole length, test sensor right down at cable entry point .
is used on couple other nissan models, part number is> 4791160Y00 (more likely find stock in europe)
They are hard source these days I expect  and make me glad I got non abs models .
someone will have used one if give it bit of time .
expect it also possible frankenstein another nissan sensor to fit/work .

I've stripped the cable right down to the sensor entry point....cables all good.
Looking at a sensor from an almera n15 as they look similar. Will see if I can retro fit it......

I've repaired a few, and it's always been the wiring broken. Breaks inside the rubber protection - so hard to find.
Have a look at this link.

N15 sensor heads look identical to me in terms of mounting and cable entry angle, although not physically measured or investigated further.
If so would be easy swap head to good cables or build a cable up to work from new head.
early to late 90's pattern sensors are as cheap as £20 so worth a play.

That's the thread I read originally which prompted me to check the cable but unfortunately the cable is good otherwise I would have been an easy repair. I've ordered the Almera one anyway, see if can get it to work.....

Is there a difference between anti lock or abs . sensors wise on the pulsar ? I don't think there is but they are sided and front and rear is that right ?

Yeah they are handed and fronts are different to rears.
Hats off to Bob as he has sorted me one....his last one.

Yes, they are handed but you can fit them on the 'wrong' side if you make a small bracket to get the angle right. Also have to cut the keyway on the socket to plug in the wrong side. Ran one like it for some months while I got round to repairing the broken ones...
