Only thing with that is with front lip cut off only thing holding bush in d shackle is grease nipple acting like a pin.
I would chop out rubber and add a box section to either solid mount it or add a poly bush in box section, I used a strongflex bush hanging around that came off a subaru & lathed it to fit in a tube welded in the box section.
Thread below with bit of info>

Is some info in one of your threads stu as you done a bolt in solid mount if I remember ...

Great feedback B.
Yeah I did do a box section one. I removed it when I took the gearbox out to be rebuilt because I had a good standard one on the spare gtir I bought.
The sr20 guys seam to be doing this mod alot.
I didnt think to much into it tho. The removed section of the bush, would it really be an issue with the amount of force people use to change gear? Its bolted through the middle and up against the linkage isnt it.

Yeah it will do the job, could add couple extra pins to be sure bush stays in position .
Could probably machine well in bush and keep most of lip
Easy way fix the support if not into chopping metal .
Always good see other ideas ...
