Bhp guess

Just curious really as I am a bit out of touch.
Pushing my luck aswell really as car is unmapped but fuelling is good at 4bar base on stock injectors.

Turbo is a .64 52trim gt2871r running 1.2bar boost.

I am thinking close to 320?

Sounds like a stupid question just curious to what others are running on the same turbo?

I have one of those turbos on one of my cars. 1.3bar 372bhp, still got stock elbow so not to bad

I just don't know where it's at,don't think it's running that much tbh.

Fuelling is pretty good at 4 bar base on the stock injectors and map but really pushing my luck tbh.

I will risk turning this thread chavvy which I can assure you I am not just pleased the thing is running well and curious to its power.

It's been 7 years since its been on the road,got it back and stripped 4th gear within a 1500 miles lol
Fixed again and upped the boost and it seems lively

I had a 3rd 4th pull with a Litchfield 650 bhp gtr but the guy say he was in comfort mode and something was done to it by litchfield in that mode so was definitely not running that power but even so to hang on like I did I was pretty happy with.

Also just an hour ago I had a full 3rd 4th pull with a bug eye impreza that said he was 420bhp/400ftlb and nothing in it.

I sound like a muppet but hey ho haha

Sounds about right as I had a stock turbo 1.2 bar which was faster than my mates scooby running 400/400 blob eye

Really happy with the old girl,nice to be back on the road and so so easy to forget how fast they are!

I'm hoping for around the 380bhp out of my GT2971R once it's all finished

Always wanted a gt3071r but glad I ended with the gt28 so far,spools up perfect for the road and feels great atm.

Shift light is a pivot shift light pro,works just of voltage and is wired through cigarette lighter wires and works well tbh.

Pulling strong there but you sure its 1.2bar?

Reads just under on the gauge but 1.2 on the avcr,proberly running a little less tbh.

30 series too big really unless really want high numbers & power at top end.
Trick 2871's can supply enough air for quite serious power while retaining the power punch that the 54C R is famous for.
These cars are damn quick on drag & street if right tuning done & easily keep pace or leave behind many bigger power cars.
With right exhaust, intake & cooler you could see more than low 300s .
Would be wise run it on rollers as good check things over when running close to full potential of stock ecu/equipment on a vintage banger why guess when don't need to ...
