yeah im getting there its actually fairly easy but just time consuming getting it right but then to map a car 'properly' especially for use on a race track it does take best part of a day and sometimes can run in to 2 days to get it spot on.
Trouble with old cars is all the ancillary items, sensors and so forth as they can mess with fuelling if not all fully functioning and its not a good idea to map around a fault, far better to fix the issue first.
We have a mk1 escort rally car in this afternoon to be mapped so will learn a bit more as Terrys doing this one, im just operating the dyno
