Hi Lads

My heater unit stopped working before the clutch gave up it was either on or off no intermediate settings

I thought I saw a topic on here from bob??? on how to open up the unit and fix the unit by soldering or hitting with a hammer LOL

Any Ideas, if not can they be fixed or is mine doomed to the scrap pile?

cheers Tom

ps mine is the push button type with knob on the right hand side off an L reg R

It might just be the resistor card as that is the usual culprit, it's located on the bottom of the heater box, held in place with a couple of screws, try testing it with a multimeter to see what voltages you are getting for each fan speed.

Thanks Chris found it!!

Ive just swapped over the card from my old sunny which is identical looking, so hopefully in a couple of weeks when the engine is up and running the heater should work on all 4 settings

many thanks Smile
