Iv just seen that it might be possible to run non turbo cams from a 200sx that will give better lift and duration has anyone tryed iton our engines? I know a friend uses them on his drift 200sx cars and has lots of these cams avalible

I never use hydraulic spec cams in the solid lifter 54C .
would of thought lift on standard 200sx would be about 0.5mm less than the standard gtir, duration very similar.
Tomei 260 with 12mm lift are good cams spec'd for solid lifter rnn14 & price fair too .
Kent 252 seems get some good remarks, lift is about same as standard plus they rather expensive.
anything wilder than hks 264s is not really needed & has little benefit for most .

if you try using 200sx cams youll quickly throw a rocker/s
