not sure how much but had mine done over winter and the bodyshop cut out the rust and just welded a piece of plate on the inside and filled over the top, if you fancy doing it yourself

depends how confident you are with welding and painting. Its pretty straight forward to do. one of my rear arches had a little hole in it but it went through both skins. Just make sure you do the underside and topside or itll prob just come back again

Just cut out the old shit and weld/ tack the new pieces in grind it flat and let the pro's do the filling and blowing in. when im welding i tend to charge per plate as generally it works cheaper for the customer but most will charge between 60-80 per hour or like a rinse of 40 per plate wich normallay very small in size so better off doing it yourself if you have the tools

Oh and cut the plate about 1mm smaller than the hole that way you can let weld fill the rest and get the metal flush without the need for shit loads of pug lol

where do you get the replacement arches? i think i will need these instead as the arch is really rotting. rust just looks much worse on a white car Sad

Yea totally agree white seems to show it worse. Im having a pig of a job at the moment sourcing mine rang 6 or 7 companies now and all out of stock for at least 3 weeks if you can wait until then. mine is in the shop so need them asap. Hoping to hear word from Imperial crash repair panels today. 01302 304000 they have them listed on ebay cheaper i expect than ringing direct.

I ground and wirebrushed all surface rust to expose the rust hole and bodyshop patched it up they didn't replace whole arch, and theres a few companies who do replacement 5 door arches which you cut down yourself or go to nissan who will charge hundreds of pounds for a panel replacement

Got sorted today with the replacement panels..... Cars2.co.uk 01684565882 came through with a set sourced out of denmark. They only apparently got two sets in so only one up for grabs! so if anyones in the same predicament as i was in snap up the last set. all the other places i listed are still talking Shit and full of uncertainty as when or if they are coming in. Shocked
