New Pistons and machining

Right time to pull my finger out.

Time to rebuild my engine after busting a couple of pistons, just looking for recommendations who can check/machine the block, and supply pistons (forged) and maybe build me up a short block.
I can travel if I find the right place.

Any help would be appreciated.

I did an xr3i build also ... miss it was a quick little bugger once i finished it ...

Have you tried Bob? I know he did say he was really booked up but it would be worth it!

Must be a,local auto engineering company near by if Bob is unable to help. Highly recommended my one but it's based in essex

we could do it for you no problem but you would have around a 3 month wait before we could even look at it
were absolutely chocabloc at the moment.

Well with Christmas and new year I dont think thats too bad, I wouldnt worry about 3 months as I know I wouldnt choose anyone else to re build the pulsar lump bar Bob.

We're actually now fully booked until end of January but that could be longer still as way behind at the moment and always playing catch up due to work with the rolling road and so forth, seems seven days a week and 18 hour days just isn't enough lol

18 hours a day? you still have another 6 to play with!

Well I just know the problem with going else were for engine rebuilds etc. and sometimes the friendly chap offering a great service and machine work etc. turns into your worst nightmare as they couldn't give two hoots about a 25 year old SR20 engine (Not always the case but I learnt my Lesson lol). As mentioned there are some big companies about but who wants to pay such a premium?

My dilema exactly, apart from Bob it's knowing who to trust with my pride and joy.

Try gtir James on here, he's a damned good mechanic and works for Nissan also.
He trusted his engine build to a so called good company and they fooked it up so he's now done what he should have done initially and built it himself
