Power flex engine mount

Just got the power flex upper engine mount, with the old knackered mount do I cut out the old rubber or does it come out with metal inner ring if that makes sense? If any one has fitted these before they will know what I mean. Cheers

Break the middle out of the rubber then get a chisel and knock the outer ring towards the centre so it breaks away from the main housing.
Clean the surface for the new bush, lube it with grease and refit
