Whatever happened to j-10 meets

They looked bloody awesome anybody know why they stopped ?

Ask mr stu .... he was the organiser of the j10 meets pete ....

Think it was just time and also people fell out of love for the car and also they were going through a low point in value and members so it sort of fizzled off. J10 meets was great from day 1 of owning the R U was down there picking people brains on how to sort ny R and was a great atmosphere.

Although I think they have cracked down on any car meets in the midlands? Or so im sure Stu said so J10 itself may not be the best venue.

Our site is still going but no one logs on these days. We also have a Facebook page.
The domain came up for renewal this month but I have chosen not to renew it
The meets and club was buzzing from 2007 for about 4 years with many meets and shows and convoys...
As Tom says. People lost interest in cars and meets so it dropped off.
We have tried a few times to revive it. But it doesn't work.
Plus the police have just had an injunction put on the westmidlands area. If 2 or more cars are driving together or parked up together you can be jailed. Also organising anything you can be jailed. So it just isn't worth it these days
We can still sort out shows tho. As there seams to be a new lease of life in owners

Geeze that's some heavy rules that have been put in place to stop a car scene

Its not as bad down our way although the police will move you on .... there is organised meets in car parks with owners consent so not much police can do about it .... kent police have a very backward view on modified cars ... wich is a shame really as those who spoil it are not real enthusaists but bellends that put a set of wheels on and an exhaust then drive like tits and spoil it for the whole car scene ...

We had dickheads racing down a dual carriageway every night. And people would line the road watching.
The was a few crashes and residents went to the council.
Totally fucked it for the enthusiasts
