Took the pulsar out for its first drive.
Boosted it a little and as I backed off. The alarm sounded and armed itself.
Could this be a loose earth?
It had a new Clifford fit before it was taken off the road.
While driving I had to press the immobiliser sequence to disarm it. Luckily the immobiliser didn't cut the engine...

black jax?
Might be that it didn't disarm correctly initially, felt vibrations akin to someone smashing it and alarm went off.
You might find it never happens again!

Doesn't hurt to test the earths, with them being all black wires you'd need the guide.

Think it needs a new battery? The car that is.
The alarm sounded while I was pulled up at the lights just.
And after a little boost it didn't happen. So is random.
Might be battery power drop making the alarm arm?

Cliffords are appalling alarms. But yeah I would be checking the wiring.

I would also disable any extras such as ultrasonic sensors and see if any of those are to blame.

Thanks.
I will have a look. But might drop it into an auto electrician to have a look at it for me.

My Clifford used to constantly go beserk to the point where I gave up and disabled it completely, binned the car before I could sort it.

Toad ai606 now, brilliant.

I have 2 cars with clifford & they been 100% fine.
I'm not the greatest clifford fan either but if fitted well they generally ok.
Autowatch is one of my favourite no nonsense quality alarms .
Can't see that it properly arming as indeed it would cut fuel etc & if wired right it impossible arm with key in ignition & running engine.
Voltage drop will make um go nuts & chirp so indeed worth checking battery/connections & alternator output.
Best going to a clifford installer as easiest way of checking them at first is with cable & notebook & run through alarm settings & also read log of previous reasons alarm set off etc .

100% correct. Thankyou.
I read the user manual Smile

^ what does the anti hijack do on yours stu, besides siren & probably indicators does it limit rpm vehicle speed !
don't have it on mine, I prefer a telescopic baton & mace spray :-) biggest f00kers for forcing you to stop here is the dodgy road police wanting tea money :-/
Reading instructions always useful but us real men always do that as last option :-D

Hahaha I would sooner carry a bat aswel Wink
My anti hijack let's them take the car at limited revs for so far and then it cuts the engine all together Smile
Doesn't reset for 5 minutes I think Smile
