very poor site search

Have noticed the sites google search has become next to useless as seems google indexing is restricted by the site.
This is also evident by main google browser homepage search having very little content for gtir-mc :-/

Could do with looking at as all the info is not so useful without good search.
I was looking for a post I done on akebono 2pot calipers & 276mm mitsi discs but can't find it.
Tested search on few other things & it returns no result even for known key words & phrases, think the webmaster needs review this ;-)

I did notice this awhile ago. Is it because some parts of the forums are now locked unless you're signed in?

I'm signed in & also it the open sections.
Looks to me more like site running scripts to block google indexing.
Google search did work quite well when stu first added it but now it useless as is the inbuilt search .
Inbuilt search is just too basic with no spell error compensating & based on read tittle only.
Really needs inbuilt search like on modifiers as that works real good.
