If you look the bush won't go in,past the 2nd plate,I don't know of another way round this so I had to hack them to suit...

I almost forgot, refurbished rear calipers from biggred...

Also drilled out a snapped stud in the turbo elbow downpipe.

Forged engine with some different piping on the inlet I didn't like or the missing oil separator,so I used mine off my.old engine.

After a stuuuuuuupid mistake the cars nearly back to where I was a few days ago! 
I'd forgotten to put the loom on and connect it up round the back!!! 
"insert comment here" 
Whatever it is I'm called I've probably called it myself already!! 
Anyhow, heres my refurbished rear calipers now in hammerite smooth blue and also my wilwood 4 pots in the same colour.....

Thanks,I painted them myself :-D

Well,now, engine is back in,again! :-/
Front 4 pots have been fitied along with Mintex 1144 pads and brembo HC discs off a clio 182.
2moros jobs will be fitting more bits n bob's, front support bar,intercooler, rad ,slam panel, headlights and indicators etc.

hope youve been turning that engine over by hand with little oil down the bores as the forged pistons have a knack of seizing rings on pistons if they have been left standing for any period of time

I gave it a go,but I didn't know which plugs went where so to be sure and re-learn it all ,I dropped the engine,took about 2-3hrs all works been done on my own.
I wish I'd known about the pistons,ah well a few more days won't make a difference now.

So after just missing out on finishing the car for last weekend for Oulton Park and having to watch my mrs take my track time I have a small update.....

IT'S ALIVE!!!!!!!!!! 
Well it's a start,a few loose ends to tie up now,then MOT and off to Silverstone this sunday :-D

So after holding my breath and starting her up..Crank,crank,crank, crank, bang and to life she goes!!
Then a massive oil leak as the turbo's oil return pipe clips wasn't holding pressure :-(
So in daylight here it is....

I've gone for the retro orange side repeaters for a change.
I've always got clear if I want to swap back.
