First light on RHS under temp gauge is the battery/charge light (small battery icon)
If staying on check alternator is working/charging.
If staying on check alternator is working/charging.

as i look at it the battery is the last on right...the one staying on is the first one 
!

used electric contact cleaner on the connection . thanks for advise

ill never forgot some lady called into work and said "I'm not going to be at work today because that light on my dash for the last 3 months actually meant something"

Yeh first left of the right side group of lights is handbrake/brake fluid level
