Basically I want to buy some wiring to make up a new loom so I want the wires to be all different colours etc. Is there somewhere online I can buy like a loom of wiring if that makes sense? I can only really find a few standard colours of wiring.

Yes that can be hard source locally & with tracer colours more so. I spent ages locally & most will not do it as cuts & only in large roll so expensive, I have managed from salvaging some vehicle looms for wiring & few basic colours bought locally on 25M rolls.
Worth trying any decent local auto electrical shops as decent ones who do like classic car rewiring may have a range of coloured wiring & sell by the metre.
Hopefully someone has a good online source & then could be added to the useful links section :-)

Yeah guys it's proving hard locally, not that I've had an extensive search yet. Going to the wreckers and cutting some out that's in good condition isn't a bad idea.

That site is exactly what I'm after. You don't want to be working anyway  Laughing

Yes pulling some jap looms in tidy order is cheap, you get good suitable colours & quality is decent too.
Plus you will feel good about recycling when relaxing in the evening with your beer & BBQ chicken :-)

^ I like the sound of that. Also ripping stuff out of cars at the wrecking yard is super fun Laughing
