Just fitted wilwoods on my R & i can see the calipers working & squeezing the discs when my mate pushes the pedal!
But theres no stopping power? They feel 5 x worse than standard & the pedel is spongy!
Now weve bled them up 4 time & theres NO air in all 4 calipers! there fine!

Any ideas asap? Sad

You put them on the right way around ie bleed nipples to the top?

If you've defo got all the air out then it might be the seals on master cylinder.I replaced mine when the engine was out as a precaution.

I'm not an expert on anything mechanical mate, just do most of the servicing myself and fitted 2 brake kits and bled it a few times.I had same problem as you with the 1st kit and it was because I had put the calipers on the wrong side so looked like they had bled fine but the air was just accumulating at the top of caliper so were spongy as hell and didn't stop well at all.
A true mong moment but I was still learning and it was the 1st time I'd swapped brakes over.

JUst had a thought, I remember some people saying in the past they had to bleed them with the engine running because of the abs.Now I have never had to do this , so whether there is anything to it I don't know.

bleed with the engine running, and you may find the proportion valve has fucked up.............engine out job if it has.

Ok thanks guys. Are wilwoods sided ie left & right calipers?

Dan is the proportion valve behind the inlet? as i snapped the drivers front line & had to fit another 1 so i just took inlet off or is that something else?
