What are peoples recommendations on the best discs for the rear of the pulsar and where to buy them?

Looked for oversized kits but they're extortionate considering they retain the standard caliper.

Cheers

Paz

1995 maxima 5x114 rear 278mm /aka 10.94" rotor redrilled
RAYBESTOS Part # 96511
or 2004 spec V brembo rear redrilled same rotor size except 4x114 , slightly safer on the redrill pattern
CENTRIC Part # 12842082R
CENTRIC Part # 12842082L
RAYBESTOS Part # 980308
CENTRIC Part # 12042082

30-100$ per rotor(large variation due to if you buy slotted/powerslot, branded ,jobberetc) plus cost of redrilling

maxima rear caliper brackets, spaces the oem caliper back to the centerline of the car 12mm and further out out 10mm for the 20mm larger disk 40-80$ for caliper brackets
A-1 CARDONE Part # 141506 DORMAN Part # 619503

you can reuse the oem caliper, or get a rebuilt g20

remove, trim, or bend the heatshield out of the way

80 percent of the braking is done up front, i wouldn't be too concerned about a larger rear caliper unless you're looking for a hydraulic steering brake

i'd look at not using a shitty tire and shitty brake pad before changing calipers.

gtirnicks tip on the 278mm discs is a good one but you might have bit of trouble sourcing brackets for caliper in UK.
Other options are Black Diamond or ICP standard discs

Hispec do 2 kits I think with the 300mm one being bit pricey & 280 kit being pretty much same as gtirnicks maxima conversion.
Godspeed done one too.
All sell quickly used & don't come up often ...
