Whats peoples thoughts ? Thinking of a good one low miles standard off a mate or do i pay the extra for a integra. Or do i buy a quad with a r1 engine. All this is while i save for my audi rs6

my missis uses the integra dc5 as a daily driver.

I'm not a big honda fan but it is fun, I think the looks of the integra are much nicer than the civic, the rear end does look the business at night especially in white.

Yep the civic is not a car top of my list but my mates is totally standard and low milage at a good price to me. Honda in my opinion are very reliable car if service and great handling. Love my R's but just using the black wide arch one at the min no heaters i aint got round to wiring in my heated windscreen. Just keep thinking a daily driver would be good

I was very impressed with the front diff in the tag. The only downside to the car is the honda gearboxes have shit syncros.

If the price is right for the civic then I'm sure it will be a good daily.

I use a mr2 turbo as my daily an it's bloody awesome

As i say i take the piss but honda right from my mates old shape crx was a go cart handling and fast as far as a 1.6 goes just the fact it would do say 90 into a corner but still be doing 85 out the other side. My R would do 120 in but i only doing the same 85 on exit on twistys it held its own for a 1.6 na. I prob would not buy anything but my mates is standard very very clean and i know its had a good easy life on low miles so if i decide on a daily it will be that as you say leighton alot worse looking cars etc. lets just hope i dont go mad on all these honda parts braces and a jackson supercharger for it

Type r ain't got a chance against a tuned pulsar but if it's stock it's getting blown away, my Megane Rs 250 is a different matter, on B roads or race tracks it will keep up with anything, might sound stupid but will give an r35 a run for it's money on a track, never driven a car that handles so good
