Ok basically I've bought a sand blasting cabinet and large compressor so if anyone wants anything cleaning, if you pay postage I'll do it for you and send it back. Can't say fairer than that. As long as I'm not out of pocket no harm done . cheers

Cabinet was given me by my mates dad who was moving so free , well he'd just bought new grit still in the tub for £30 so I gave him the money for that but the compressor was about £450 all in with the water trap etc

It's also a good bit of kit just to clean up inlets and such things...
Make life easy when doing an engine build Smile

Might just have to sort a box of bits out so I can get them powder coated Smile

Quite a big size cabinet then .... did you look at soda blasting aswell looked pretty cool on you tube when they did a complete car ...

soda blasting is good but expensive by the bag and only one hit, then you need to run over rust
with a different media to take the rust off so more costs.

is a good process but isn't as fast as the videos show in real life and mega dusty if doing dry
i done a few cars with soda but don't do them any more due to cost of the soda.
