Going to see the seat tonight, gonna try and see if it's authentic. He said he would take $700 for it. Anyone have a zeta 3 in their R? Not sure if it'll fit.

nice seat, but why pay so much unless its got the fia sticker and an expiry date

if you don't need fia rating, then a corbeau fx1 pro is like 360$ brand new
plus jdm seats fit a bit more snug, i'm 5'10 185lbs approx and the corbeau is still moderately spacious
make sure you fit the seat, i'd be choked dropping 850$ on a seat and not fitting

and if you need the fia rated seats, you can pick up a sparco pro 2000 for about 800$
i'd consider your choices before sinking 850$ on a used seat.

That is a good pint i have no need for FIA rating

Where did you get your corbeau from?

Any reason you didnt get the rail for the seat from corbeau?

Thanks for the advice.

b/c i dont think corbeau makes one
if you're looking at their listing of the pulsar 82+ that's the north american pulsar nx

Oh okay, just wondering because the shipping is quite expensive.

to be honest, unless ur tracking the car the stock seats are great as they sit low and give lots of room

a bucket seat can be a pain for a daily to get in and out of, altho quite comfortable to sit in for long periods of time

My opinion is standard seats are low and comfy but just dont hold you enough for even fast b road driving. If your not tracking the car find a happy medium like i said something like the recaros i have are very comfy have that extra grip/hold and have the slots for harneses.

Ya that's all that I really want. My brother has the factory recaros in his Evo 5and I would be happy with something like that. Just not sure where to get it.

They don't look too much wider than my seat. Look the dimensions up, majority of aftermarket seats you're looking at will fit, it's more about the positioning and how high you sit and of course these would still need rails to suit

Found a set of the replica gias 2 for $885 which seems very reasonable. Bad news is its $180 just for shipping!

Yeah shipping is always a killer with something like seats.

Would you say its worth it for the two seats? I'm thinking i might just try and find another set of pulsar rails and fab up some mounts as a pose to spending another $600 on rails. Are these seats bottom mount only?

I actually brought factory drivers side rails with intention of fabricating them to fit my seat. I cant exactly remember but the factory rails were really high to begin with and the left and right rail were different. Ill take some pictures so you know what I mean. Yup and they are only bottom mount.

Oh okay, well I have a welder and everything at home so hopefully I'll be able to make up something that will work. You think it's a decent investment for the two seats though? Do you enjoy driving in yours?

The price for the seats doesn't seem too bad but I'm not sure what the going rate is over there. There would be no way I'd be keen on spending 600 on rails though. I drove in mine a little before the car went off the road and I really liked it but that's down to personal preference.

Not sure if you have looked at the factory rails yet but when I looked at them I decided not to try and modify the standard rails as I thought it was difficult with the bottom mount seat. In saying that it's possible but I just didn't take that option

Ya, im not really sure either as i cant for the life of me find any seats even in Canada, which seems odd as how theyre registered Bride Canada seats...

I havent had a chance to look at the rails yet, But if i can save myself the cost of two bride rails im willing to spend a weekend making up/ modifying the factory rails.
