Strange idling

Had my car in for a map at the weekend, made 405bhp...I'm not at the desired figure yet, any way, I went for a damn good thrash last night, and after a high speed run 150mph plus (private road of course....) it has starter to idle quite high, and then it will change it's mind and idle so low it feels like it's going to cut out! Any ways Iv tried the old turning it on and off again trick and that hasn't work, so what will be the best things to look at first myself before having to take it to a garage etc? Any ideas guys? Thanks

Drop it down to 240bhp and should be fine Pete lol not jealous honest

Look for split vac lines or see if they've popped off anywhere, espeasialy on top of the throttle boddies... They can pop off

Yeah check boost hoses etc mate any small leak anywhere will cause problems like that. Glad cars coming on

I'm trying to get hold of one yes, but don't really want to buy new so I can keep the cost down! Also need 3 inch elbow and may well go for a tubular manifold at some point! Had to have a new intake made as the old one wasn't big enough and had 90 degree bends in and different diameters etc! It's never as straight forward as you think with these things is it! But I'm learning

Good nice easy fix fit the small cable ties etc when you start running power like yours mate

A launch is lots of revs and two ways side step the clutch or drag it neither are advisable

2 ways side step the clutch :/ confused me lol, yeah you sent me pics off you brakes or you deleted it

So side stepping is a term for dropping the clutch? Dragging is the more sympathetic choice for your transmission I believe?
