Andy Sunny Gti

Okay quick run down.
Nissan Sunny 2.0 Gti e, non turbo Sr20de 143bhp
Front wheel drive
Had car since 2007/8.

Was a standard Sunny Gti
Then decided to strip it and drag it with the Almera fwd guys.
Results 1/4 15.56 and 0-60 6.9
Wasn't happy

Decided to strip it some more and import an Sr20ve engine from the States.
Results 1/4 14.13 and 0-60 5.43
Power 196bhp
Quite Happy or content

Had a phase where I wanted the standard look so put all the I interior back in etc.

All my plans were put on hold with my son being born March 2011.

Car sat in the garage and waited, and waited, and waited.

Decided time to go all out with the car
Sr20ve turbo.
Got 90% of the parts now.

Need to finish this for summer 2015.
Lets do this. Twisted Evil

It's been off road for nearly 2 years time to bring it back to life... cheers

Think if I were you I would bolt a super charger on that to keep it totally lag free seeing as it's fwd, would be a bit of a weapon then
Good luck with it anyway

Is there a direct fit supercharger kit?

No you'll need to fab up a bracket
Rotor ex are expensive but you can pick up mini chargers cheap now and if you change the pulley size can get a fair bit out of them too

Yes just like a civic type r but better. I can thrash the hell out of it and not feel bad. The car loves it. Its what she (vvl) needs.

Yes we've discussed this.
I had it in 2007/8, sold it, then bought it again a year later..
I will actually look at my paperwork to confirm.

Or maybe it was I bought it in 2008, sold it that same year, then bought it again in 2009. ball age

Thanks for the comments and encouragement guys. This will help me pull my finger out, stop being lazy, and just get the job done before I retire from the performance car game..

Okay, seeing all the shows/ events/ rolling road day just being round the corner, I have decided its either now or never.
Work, family life etc just leaves me with no time for her.
But today I have just chucked all the parts needed to finish this project in the car.
Will then trailer to my mates so we can just bung this all together, then off to the tuners to get it remapped.

Lets do this.
Just need to order a new performance clutch, slim line fans and I have everything required to finish her off.

The only thing I am now pissed off about is the long exhaust cracked the windscreen when closing the boot. Thought I had enough room.
Need a new windscreen now. Sad

Once the car is complete will either respray or wrap in white/ ivory or just renovate the current grey colour.

Thats a bitch about the windscreen! I did a similar thing when i put the ramps off the trailer in the car Sad
Good luck with the build... Hope to see it sometime this year Smile

I had two of these and loved them. I have also had the primera egt and always wanted to do a conversion on one of them! 1 day ball age

Cheers guys, yes the plan is to just get it built, mapped, and finished, road worthy with a new service and mot.
I might decide to keep it or sell it to get a Gti-r.
Either by importing myself or seeing if Bob has anything that tingles my fancy.
What this space.
