Iv read a few bits about that car previous and it is well set up track, worth whatever anyone wants to pay for a fully built track car, and your right on std box or not worth very strong money

It may in theory be worth strong money but simply not many people interested at throwing 8 grand at an old sunny then close to half that for a decent box hence bracpans extremely slow sale & he had a PAR gear kit.
Personally only real way to know quality/what its worth is by viewing it & your desire to own it.

The owner refused to sell it for 5,7k Now I'm thinking about adding extra 1k to the offer but this will be the the limit ...

I absolutely agree that selling that kind of project is a huge challenge and anyone who wants to do it needs to be aware that the potential buyers group is extremely small.

BTW - there's current discussion between Polish Government and EU authorities about legal issues of registration RHB (now it's forbidden in Poland). If they change the law than there will be lots of cars from UK/Japan driving in Poland.

Dont go 1k straight away offer half that then say very last offer add the other 500 if you get it bonus. If not something will come along

As said the car is only worth what someone's willing to pay and facts are that a majority of people will not pay that type of money now

But as Johnny said............to build a car to that spec without the box your looking at 10k plus, but it seems most people would rather do it stages at a time then perhaps that way they don't notice the money they are spending.
This is why good cars end up getting broke in pieces as people simply just won't pay the money such as the car I was advertising and Glenn's car for instance, crazy but it's a fact.

GTI-R US - I couldn't agree more! That is exactly what I'm think - most tuners/modifiers find much more attractive building their own cars (with costs spread for few years) rather than buying a ready project for half a price

johnny gtir - I'm in touch with the owner - I think he felt almost insulted with my initial offer - we'll see ... BTW - my wife is absulutely against spending another 1 k so this is another obstacle
