Hello guys,

Just wondering when i switch on the car. not engine on yet. the avcr showing +0.02 as initial boost. but when i start up it reads normally -300+ for vacuum and when irev it up it start showing some boost. any ideas about it?

Mine did this but only when it was cold weather... so I put it down to a sticky selonoid when cold... been ok in warm weather.

Once the car is warm, your vacuem should atleast read -400+ for good vacuem... So id say check for vacuem leaks, as -300+ seems abit low

should really read 0 with just ignition on
as said above you should be pulling slightly more vacuum at idle so worth checking for vacuum leaks but could also be throttle bodies worn or out of balance as that will give same thing, all cars are slightly different so providing all is air tight I would not worry too much tbh

okay i try to blow dry the boost sensor.. but still the same. so as the solenoid.... although the vacuum is reading around -360+... but as on my manual boost guage. it showing -400+.. so not sure which one is more accurate i think i need to transfer the boost sensor where i get the vacuum because i use the vacuum at the back of manifold while the manual boost guage i use the quad throttle so you think this would matter?

thanks

Is there any calibration option in settings on the AVCR to zero guage !
Could be worth tapping into another point & testing.
Could be worth checking/cleaning any wiring related to AVCR pressure sensor.
These come with there own map sensor so possible it not reading 100% accurate !
Never been a fan of the AVCR as infinite adjustability makes it a right mission to setup & too easily fiddled with by people who shouldn't be touching it.
