Guys I need to tow a pulsar tomorrow night... Theres no engine or box in it, but obviously the prop shaft at the front hangs loose, whats the best way of me securing the prop so I can tow it? As it will still spin once back wheels are turning & don't want it bouncing of the ground?

The prop shaft rests on the ARB and won't hit the road - if the ARB is still in place. I pushed mine 100yds down the road to a mates garage a few years ago but I still don't think would be a good idea to tow it.

Nope scrap this idea lol, front drive shafts are still in the hubs... & think they need to be in place to hold hub together... Sorted a low loader now so all is good Smile

It'll take about 5 mins to disconnect the prop
If it's four miles and you go slow can't really see a reason not to tow it

Heres the shell, It will be up for sale within the next few days as a rolling shell if anyone is interested, wheels will not come on the car unless extra is paid, it will have steelys on it!

Car has just had touch ups in the body shop, so its a clean shell, Rear arches are only just starting to go but not bad atall. Ill post this up in "for sale" section in the next few days Smile

Good you've got it sorted. But I've never left the front drive shafts in....

I know it's sorted now but if you disconnect the prop at the at the first coupling it will just spin in the bearing and the first section will just rest on the arb.

For future reference.

yeh bottom end went on engine & plan was to rebuild it & tart the shell up, He got the shell done & obv couldn't be arsed rebuilding engine. So ive took it all of his hands to help him out as he's just bought a house aswell so theres another reason his heads not in it!

Engine will be sold as a non runner & other bits will be up for sale aswell once ive sorted threw everything over the weekend Smile

Coz its been abit tail happy at low speed on the back end recently before box went.. Had a word with Bob about it & we thing the transferbox could be at fault.

So going to replace both
