Towing a pulsar with a A frame would you do it or not reason I ask is it's going away and trying to find the best way to move it I can borrow A frame for free so the cheaper the better lol

no you can only tow with all 4 wheels on ground amd even thats risky

i did tow mine when the clutch went but only a couple of miles as i didnt know the risks

A frames are all the wheels on the ground mate

Tow dolly two wheels on the ground

ah i thought it was other way around, guess it depends how far your moving ive heard that you shouldnt go over 30mph or you start winding the diffs up, someone will correct if im wrong though, as i said i towed mine a few miles on a tow rope and it was fine

Some one on gtiroc a post I found said

its just like lifting off and freewheeling so if you can do that at 150mph there is no reason why you cant tow it with 4 wheels on the ground.i have done it a couple of times.

It's a fair trek it's going

Edinburgh my mates got a recovery truck but no tax might just have to risk the no tax he's got trade plates to but don't think you can use them for that lol

You can legally drive an untaxed car with trade plates on  study   Wink

But I don't think you can legally drive a recovery truck to drop one off lol the trucks not taxed lol

if your worried about winding the diff up just disconnect the propshaft at the rear (15 minute job)
if you know someone with a dolly you can then lift two wheels in to the dolly and tow as normal

Im not sure on that ..... in a sense trade plates are sort of classed as a seperate vehicle so when they are put on the proposed motor it becomes the trade plate if that makes sense ...so i would think in a way it would be ok ...but would check first lol

Don't have a dolly tho Sad lol
Just a A frame or recovery truck lol what's the worst that will happen according to the police thy can't do much about untaxed cars only the dvla can clamp them I'll try argue the trade plate part just say I'm selling the truck and the pulsar is the transport home lol
