Can anyone rebuild a gtir gearbox?

See bob place near him dose them. Dont know if we have any members on here who do. Quite labour intensive and parts not cheap. Whats the situation ie broke upgrade/ rebuild

Yes newood transmissions near me do them plus if they need any parts I can drop them round as some of the parts are now no longer obtainable from Nissan

It was just a general enquiry I have a place local to me but they are rubbish, never could seem to find a 'good' gearbox rebuilder I have a spare I've been told it has only cover 44k miles or so. What I was thinking of doing was upgrading/ rebuilding as I don't know weather the spare box has had a rough life or not! But it's just a thought at the moment

second hand gearbox parts are easy to find....

I cant remember tbh but ive had 3 different companies phone me for parts which they were told are no longer obtainable from Nissan, some things like the main gears and bearings are available but I think the diff bearing was one thing I was asked for as well as a hub synchro

I know the rb parts were stopped by nissan well some 3rd gear was one
