It is a serviceable  part so to speak or can be as you can buy a rebuild kit not that i found one but its a series of rubber seals etc so id be careful pulling it apart ...wait and see if gaz d22 cylinder fits as this will be an upgrade

Know what yr saying Leighton but if I can keep it original I would prefer it and I've got nothing to loose really if I fail I'll just go d22.

You have about £160  to lose by my reckoning if the d22 is the same you can use the stock reseviour it will only be the internal bore size that would be different so will stay looking stock just more effeciant

Ah so are you saying swap the inners or do you think you can swap the reservoir ?

You wouldnt be able to swap the inners as the bore size on the d22 is larger so swap the reseviour ..... it might not be interchangable yet will have to see what gaz comes back with ...

It works out 15/16 is 24mm and d22 is 25.40mm so is slightly larger bore  Wink

Have you tried actually releasing the pressure at each calliper..

if you undo the union if there is pressure it will release the calliper

Well what a bloody waste of time, absolutely fuming. rang up this morning for that M/C 7 they compared it to mine over the phone & it all matched up... So drove 25 miles to pick it up as they said the had 2 in stock!
Anyway I got there & they said they didn't have them in stock & it was a different 1 they explained on the phone, even tho they described it as the same 1  Mad

Thaey said they cant get these in anymore & even if they could it would be 4 weeks!

Getting realy peed off now as know one seems to get them apart from Nissan at £162.00 +vat... & judging by how hard its proving to find 1 theres no garuntee Nissan can get them!

So guys I hope to god your M/C never fails as it looks like you can not buy new anymore  Rolling Eyes

Is the D22 one you looking at the ADL ADN15127 ?
google ADN15127 Master Cylinder for details ...
if so any local ADL parts factor can get one & few online options too.
Would ideally want review selection of Nabco cylinders in a breakers yard for comparison/measurements for donor plan before splashing out cash on new part.

As mine was sticking i took it off tonight and pushed the plunger with a screw driver it was covered in grease that had gone hard and white and didint slide well at all so cleaned and cleaned lol abit of wd40 and now its free as a bird. Put it back on and all seems ok. Not had time to bleed it though until tomorrow. Also the wheels spin freely once pressure is released by opening the bleed nipple so it as to be that

I pushed the plunger in as you can see in the picture and gave the internal cylinder bore a clean with fine emery paper then oiled it
