just saw this thread and  lol!

just say yeah go for it it 'will be well wicked bruv' watch the fool waste his money and blow the thing to pieces lol, then turn round and say 'told ya so'

engine will take the power if mapped correctly, but for starters the clutch will slip like mad, intake manifold will be a lottery, turbo and injectors will need upgrading as neither will make that much power, doesn't matter how much boost you run through it the cfm is not high enough to produce that power even if you run it at 10,000bar boost
my guess is its all pub talk but let him get on with it and encourage him by playing along then just laugh at him when it goes kaboooooom!  Laughing

Haha your mate is totally lost tell him get a boost controller then he can have the boost set at 3 different setting ie 1.1 1.3 and 1.5 say ..  and tell him to give sabra a call they are the best with rs mk1 that's the best advice he will ever have lol .   The fiat coupe 20v turbo are a lovely car so under rated it's unreal the engine are very strong im running 1.5 bar @420 bhp the sound when it comes on full chat is something else I'll put a video up of it

Hahaha tell your mate to save his money... I have several friends with mk1s (who I think are the same in common with lenzo dan king, Lloydy, marv and mark hayes who keeps blowing his inlet as it's plastics.)

They have all done extensive mods, hybrid turbos etc and are only 290-350.

Cowboy springs to mind

I looked into this guy and his 'boost junkys' company (which sounds conveniently like another tuning company 'boost junkies'  Suspect ) and he started up late in 2013 so it sounds like he has tons of experience under his belt  Rolling Eyes lol
