Been done before and a cast manifold was made for a fitting kit based on the later evo turbos.
Not bad option if happen to have a spare free mitsi turbo but without it the cost of turbo & manifold either custom tubular or the cast kit plus other pipework adjustments will be quite expensive over using a decent Garrett for your power goal.

So If a standard R's turbo at 1 bar made 300bhp & 300ftlb for example
Would an evo twin scroll charger make alot more power?

Quite a few TD05 variants (16g small large, 20g and all with various specs to market & exact model) but over a standard GTiR turbo it has higher flow.
A 2871r would be a close match comparison to the TD05.

Am having one built for it but waiting on an engine before I have it done.

You might be in for a long wait I was wanting the track car running by April but am stupidly busy at the mo so it's looking like it's going to be a long build.

You might be able to get a tdo5 to t28 flange.
I bought an Evo turbo but swapped it for a t28 in the end.

I've seen t3 to t28 flanges.

Cut the t28 flange off the Gtir manifold and weld the tdo5 one on?

You can get a decent 20g tdo5 for under £50 these days Wink
They are good for just under 400hp

I'm not so good at the moment mate. Things are a little tough at the moment.
Thanks for asking.

Can you not use an evo tubular manifold? and then cut the flange of and weld a gtir flange on ...
Or how different are the flanges?

I´m running a Subaru td05h-16g on a GTI-R manifold... i found out that some Alfa romeo´s use a TD05 with a T25/t28 hotside... so i use the lancia turbine housing on the subaru turbo...

The housing goes from 7cm2 to 6cm2, wich is good for spool...

I also modified the manifold for a EWG, but you can adapt the internal WG to work.

If you want i can put pics up... i made 303bhp/310nm at around 0.5/0.6bar on a 10:1 SR20DE...

A 16g is good for 350bhp, even more, but then you fall from it´s efficiency range.
