Well had the R a week and already added 2 evos to my kill list lol

One was a few days ago evo 8 tried to leave me but floored mine n stuck on his arse I had to slow down whilst he was thrashing it lol

And the other today evo 10 left him round an island then up a bypass I slowed down he put his window down and said fuck that's fast I want one lol we had a laugh n went opposite ways

Not bad to say its on standard boost, although on the way back it's picked up a hesitation slight miss so gonna look into that tomorrow got few days off work

Yep will do, it's only happening on boost also if you hold it part throttle on boost, gonna get some new plugs anyway, I fitted a dump valve blanking plug but don't think it's that

Nope not a constant missfire it's only on boost part and full throttle, just all of a sudden happened, doesn't obviously feel as quick with it aswell

i had an evo 5 last year (sold my previous pulsar to buy the evo) and it was boring, loved the car, was comfy, and looked cool, but not fun.

You do it by bridging the two pins across it the diagnostic port on the drivers side where the fusebox is mate .

Ok so changed some vac pipes and fitted boost controller, that's cured the hesitation/miss once warm,

But not when cold has pour idle and stutters slightly lol

could be anything causing a misfire tbh.....you need to go through all the ignition system checking everything including the coil and ignition amplifier module, vacuum leaks and boost hose leaks also can create misfires and one of the other common causes is dodgy afm

some of these faults do not always come up on a faultcode check, and don't overlook a mechanical failiure either such as valve etc......popping back through exhaust or airfilter

btw the headertanks in post so should be with you soon
