its not always miles that count for me if i dont use the car it still gets started short run to get it up to temprature now and again. if it has stood it gets oil changed never leave much fuel in i know it takes fuel a long time to go stale but its just the way i am. Gets anti freeze summer coolant change. No problem with it if done properly but my pet hate is people reusing fluids If they drain them to work on car for any reason. Dont forget box and diff oils people seem to forget them

I'll be trying to sort out the clutch problem. So I might also be taking the clutch out!
Also on the list:
Replace two lengths of rusty brake pipe.
Find out why the reversing light doesn't work. (hope it's not the switch...)
Sort out the ABS which sometimes kicks in - but only when stopping gently at low speed.

And do wome painting in the bathroom. affraid

If i remember right Lee told me the other day that he can get an engine out in a couple of hours. I'd like to come and watch how he does that!! Takes me a fairly long day.

yep hes had an engine out on the deck in 2 hours, he will be dropping the whole lump to do the clutch rich and have it all back up n running by the time you leave.....your gonna have to get some spanners out to help him though and generally be his bitch for the day Laughing
may also pay you to remove the Y bracket on the back whilst the lumps on the floor and sling it lol, good luck with it, il probably be popping up sometime during the day as i need to make myself a special tool.
as
il have the most awquardest job ive ever undertaken this weekend, trying to replace the cams on my tvr which are totally destroyed,i just bought 2 new ones which set me back over a grand Shocked plus its a real headache of a job to fit them and shim them up as theres no timing marks on the engine at all as its a full on race bred engine.

for the first time in my life im actually cacking myself with regard to doing a job as tvr or none of the pompous prick companies will release any info on cam settings or timing of the engine which is crucial to them running correctly (its a closed shop)...but the way i see it is that if some northern bloke from blackpool made it then im sure i can rebuild it Laughing

I use Ambra EP75w90 in my gearbox and diffs only because i get it free from work. It goes in the tractors we sell and i have never had an issue with it
