Outer sills

Done a search but can't find any info on outer chills. I'm currently stripping the car for a re-spray and upto now it's all been really solid but the last part to come off was the off side chill cover and the cill's knackered in about 4 places so decided to put a new one on . Does anyone know if there still available?? And why is it always the off side as you would think the near side would get more water being sat in the gutter.

Its just the same as the sunny mate but obviously  the pulsar   has the holes for the skirt  ...let me see if i have the link somewhere ....

Same here darren ....i had a bookmark  for replacement panels it was something like crashrepair parts  and it was cheap ...all i seem to find is like 76quid for a sill well expensive ....also have you tried ebay ?

Nothing on eBay found one for £47 still expensive for a bit of pressed tin. I will try my local car parts place tomorrow see what they can get, could just use tin but it will make a better job with a full panel

Yeah i know what you mean bud .....there comes a point when a patch wont just cut it ....

yes those are a bit beyond patching especially once you've ground them back to good metal

got the door trim but probably not the wing bracket as nearly all cars we get in have them removed but il have a look and see for you tomorrow, if not then would be a doddle to make one if you wanted to fit one back

Can I get away without fitting them Bob? Don't suppose they do much and what with the rust it's another weight saving item. Lol

 yeah pull them off there not needed and as said very few cars have them anyways.

cut the rust out and fill the gaps with airbags which is the latest weight saving device......you know the little pillow type things you get in packaging boxes
cable ties are also much lighter than metal and if you buy them in bulk you can hold a car together with them as DD motorsport did with the time attack car meeeeeow!

Just ordered from carz2, £33 delivered.bargain just wish the would say off side, near side instead of left and right. Ordered left hoping thats the off side. Left them a note so we will see lol

Well when i ordered 2 new wings that was left or right but they were looking at the front of the car from outside so we will see. Id add a link if i new how. Maybe someone with more brains can do it. Just google carz2
