I never used to like ivory however it is growing on me, plenty of things to do today, hoping to be running today with new 3071 set up. More pics to follow

Bit of an update, fitted everything however cannot get to run at the min, i think z32 afm problem but will sort tomorrow, all coming on nicely

Looking really good mate,i bet that exhaust will be loud!?

The only thing i would do different is to route the water outlet pipe upwards instead of downwards to help aid in the thermal syphoning when its switched off .
Not sure how much it will help tbh but you have proberly seen the bearing cage failures on the gt series turbos and they need all the help they can get imo.

Thanks mate, i will swap to be safe, came like that on turbo when bought before rebuilding it but i get what you mean.  Had it running around 30secs and cut out aha, its not a daily so should be fine, also have a 3" system for when i track it thats abit better than this

Back in my garage ready for fixing tomorrow  get this bloody thing running

Well what a mixed day, went to see bob to get a few bits to try for my car as i had slight running issues, in conversation i mentioned i looked at pistons through plug and has dot on top like hks (which i was told were in the car with photos) anyway after me and bob looked a few pistons and went home and had a better look to discover they were infact standard pistons  
With the power i am running these will be no good,
however have sorted a very low mileage fully forged engine...... So a very sad yet happy at finding an engine so quick. Plans still to be ready and on the road january

What were your readings on pistons?

Will be doing that tonight bob missus wanted to go bloody ikea so didnt get time mate, will get them done tonight and see. But there was oilin exhaust port 2 not expecting a great reading there haha thanks again bob for your help today was very much appreciated. I had to ask myself if i really wanted to finish the car but ive gone to far to stop and im determined to get finished
