Just thought would do a little update, have a rolling road booked on thursday just to check if fuelling etc ok, got the car all running etc at the min after a couple of minor problems so hopefully will be on the road shortly providing everything seems ok on thursday

did you find your MAF problem?

Yes fred i basically traced all cabling back cleaned all connections and started from scratch re souldered all joints etc and has been fine since it does idle low but sure itll be something simple

You wouldnt believe it with my rolling riad etc booked tomorrow my water pump went at 5oclock this evening, group of friends and some beers replaced the water pump, just finished and now ready for tomorrow, please everyone fingers crossed i have had such bad luck with this car its unreal

Thanks guys on the way now, ye was an awful job to be honest. But got there i am now abit newvous as always going on rollers but im not going for power today more sure fueling is ok but we will see haha as you guys may be leaning i have bad luck   Ye fred beer works in water pumps but needs to be fosters not stella stella is to strong and can cause corrosion haha :p

1.6 bar mate. But please remember its not been mapped just tweaked once mapped should see bit more

Dont go chasing bigger figures, it will all end in tears. Dont go crazy with the mapping, aim for driveabilty, that power is more than enough, or do you just want to see the magic 400bhp+   

400 im more than happy with atm  only 9 short   Haha

well done glenn im amazed it made that as think the ecu was only mapped at low boost as engine was on run in, with a tweak of the map will make a fair bit more
can you post up the dyno graph with fuelling too?

Ye i must admit as you know this week bob it has been a very testing week. But i am glad im getting there idles and drives fine now, water pump fixed, i just need to sort oil return on turbo and few bolt on bolt off parts to fit

cant quite work that out has that made 457lbft torque?   

why did he cut the run at 6k rpm as it seems she was still making power? perhaps it was leaning out don't know as cant see the afr graph

It's in NM bob, not sure what that equates to n lbft
Ye possibly he did the same on a couple of runs so maybe, when mapped properly i think should be easy in 400 around there.

Well done Glen, with a tweak would probably be 415hp?

Unsure mate, depends on mapper originally wanted high hp but now would settle for 400-410 with agood driveable map. Learning slowly that power is not everything haha
