Looks like you have done it right .....although i hear manual boost controller like the style you have can be troublesome as its not as reliable as say like a dawes device .

no as you still have a 1 bar loop with the pipe from the oe boost solenoid bleeding off boost back into the intake. you need to blank that intake end off (both sides)

Thanks for your replies!

I just got this temporary till i get a electronic boost controller. Currently i only have .5 so just try to race up to .7 or .8 at least.

The hose from intake is now ordinary hose. not the one with restrictor. So hopefully this would work. just making sure if i had it plumb correctly Smile.

yes the smaller vacuum/boost hose that's teed in to actuator is bleeding off back into intake needs to be blanked off as the bleed valve bleeds off boost so that setup is wrong

Ah I get you so it goes from the plenum to the manual boost controller from the controller straight to acutator and the intake pipe gets blocked off will get mine sorted out tomorrow now thanks bob

Be careful buying very cheap boost controllers. I has one like these off ebay for 15 bucks and quickly swapped it out for a turbo smart.

That boost control valve in the picture is shit, I tried one on my Saab C900 Turbo and it spiked all over the place, A £19 dawes device is much better doesn't spike just fit and forget.

Maybe not shiny and bling but it works great.

if you only have 0.5 of boost then it sounds like your car is in safemode or maybe another problem?

no it will only run .5 without the restrictor pipe in, its basically actuator spring pressure

After installing the boost I got increase up to 1bar, one thing i'm concern is would it be safe on stock injectors and stock ecu. for now i'm trying to reduce just aiming around .7 bar Smile.

Do you still need the restrictor if running a AVCR? Not checked mine?

Yes thats the pipe you block off both ends  just block the intake side and remove the other end altogether either remove  the why section and just use a straight coupler or get a longer piece of pipe .....

So I change the plumb for manual boost..

Help installing manual boost coontroller Bp_zpsb93058aa

so i remove the t Piece which is going to intake tube go straight directly to the valve bleed. I know this is not a good manual boost but atleast i know where to update soon after i create a daves manual boost controller or get a electronic boost controller..

Dont nick daves boost controller he might get rather angry Laughing  have you got a aftermarket boost gauge ...if not i would strongly reccomend getting one with messing around with boost levels .
