Finally managed to get the gti off me mate

bit rough took 5 mins to start  been standing a while and needs a bloody got service, the oils lie treacle.

mmmmm we'll see thinking putting black on her, so black alloys, bonnet, spoiler,black stickers and tints, lowered,chipped  just something to fuck about with when im flooded in over winter

Just swapped standard alloys for original ones off my black R, which look better i think, but the car needs lowering now

Thinking black bonnet and spoiler, rear arches need doing, front wings shot and around the suspension arm is rotten so plenty of welding to be done over winter.

right well ive been flooded in for a week or so and decided to start the resto in the almera, plenty or rust to be cut out on the rear arches, and plenty of parts to buy and fit, to get a nice reliable car at the end of it all, so here we go:

im just gonna strip it out from the dash back and get rid of any rust, its not too bad but the sills have been welded in the past, and then i need to replace the exhaust, tint the rear windows need some standard parts and then see how it runs over the summer, before i ever respray it. also the cars done 105k some i will be expecting a few engine parts to be going/wearing.

the original alloys i took off cos they look too small for the car, and theyve been painted white which didn't match the red, so i may paint the 17's thats on her now in black depending on finances.

and what are your plans for the original wheels now ????? i have a 1.4 sunny they would look smart on

i also have a 1.4 sunny which they'd look smart on haha, im gonna keep them for now and might recon them in a nice black or at least standard alloy colour
