Fuel Pumps

When i bought my gti-r the guy said it had a Group A Fuel Pump fitted, there is no receipt for it so i was wondering is there any easy way to tell if it has been done or not?

I dont know but maybe having a look on google at a pic then see if urs matches the pic?

unfortunately the only way is to get your hands in the tank and pull it out to have a look.
the only other way to check is by flow rate but by the time you do all that you just aswell look in the tank

ok cheers, dont fancy putting my hands in the fuel tank so ill just leave it be, was looking to get the boost upped in the future and heard you need an uprated fuel pump?

Its best to check if your uprating the boost i think its a case if you cant see it then dont believe it lol its a very easy job to do and i think my first time it took me about 20mins to uneo when i had a look now ive done it so many times it leterally takes me minutes i mean the fuel pump lol just run the tank down abit

yep i agree with above....people tell you anything when you buy a car, only way is to check then you know its in there and can safely run boost without blowing your engine to kingdom come

ahh ok cheers guys, ill just leave the boost for now then, and maybe check in the future when i get bored of the power i dont even know what a groupe a fuel pump is as google didnt really have much info on it
